Dr. Arwa received her Medical Degree from King Faisal University in 1990 and obtained the Arab Board in Internal Medicine from King Fahd Hospital University in 1998.
In 2004, Dr. Arwa travelled to Canada, pursuing her dream to specialize in oncology; therefore she attained a Clinical Fellowship in Allogeneic Bone Marrow Transplant from The University of Toronto, Canada. Later on, she obtained another Clinical Fellowship in Medical Oncology from McMaster University in 2006.
Dr. Arwa earned full membership of the American Society of Hematology (ASH) as an award of excellence in 2005; she also earned full membership of The American College of Physicians in 2013.
She is an active permanent member at the Institutional Review Board (Board of Ethics), at King Abdullah Medical City since 2011.
Between 2007 and 2015, Dr. Arwa Joined the Oncology Units at National Guard Health Affairs in Jeddah, King Fahd Medical City in Riyadh, and King Abdullah Medical City as a Consultant of Medical Oncology and Hematology. She was assigned as the Chairperson of Oncology Department at King Abdullah Medical City, Jeddah Cancer Center in 2013.
Dr. Arwa joined the International Medical Center’s family as a Consultant of Oncology in 2015.
Research and Publications
Dr. Arwa’s research and publication interest surrounds Clinical Oncology. She has been an invited speaker at various international symposiums.
