Dr. Al Saliq completed his Bachelor Degree of Medicine at Damascus University in 1996. He spent his internship at Damascus University affiliated hospitals.
Dr. Al Saliq started his Residency in Ophthalmology at Damascus Countryside Specialty Hospital, then he moved to Damascus hospitals where he spent most of his training and attended varieties of clinical courses in the ophthalmology field. Later, he completed his specialization in Ophthalmology in the Eye Surgical Hospital, Damascus in 2001. He continued his subspecialty in Oculoplasty before becoming an Ophthalmologist in 2003.
After travelling to Saudi Arabia in 2003, Dr. Al-Saliq worked as a Specialist of Ophthalmology at Ghodran General Hospital in Baha. After that, he moved to Jeddah and worked at numerous reputable hospitals and specialized eye centers until 2011.
Dr. Al-Saliq is a member at the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. He earned a Specialty Degree in Ophthalmology and Ophthalmic Surgery from the Syrian Ministry of Health in 2001. He also holds a certificate of training in Phacoemulsification from Dr. S. P. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital, India in 2009.
Dr. Al Saliq is a frequent guest at the national and regional ophthalmology annual conferences; including national and regional Ophthalmology meetings, as well as European-Lebanese Conferences held in Beirut, Lebanon. He also devotes the majority of his time to attending specialized courses and hands-on workshops.
Dr. Al-Saliq joined the International Medical Center’s family as a Specialist of Ophthalmology in 2012.
Dr. Al Saliq is married and has two children. He enjoys reading and sports activities.
