Dr. Abul-Khoudoud was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology in 1994 and a Medical Degree in 1998 from the American University of Beirut (AUB), Lebanon.
She finished her residency and become a specialist in Internal Medicine from the State University of New York in 2002 and became the Chief Resident there in her field in 2003.
Dr. Abul-Khoudoud worked as an Attending Physician on General Internal Medicine at Dakota Clinic-Merti-Care Thief River Falls Northwest Medical Center from 2003 to 2007. She then worked as a part-time attending ER Physician at the same center.
Her practice and experience in the US has been mostly consistent of general Internal Medicine as well as a focus on Women’s Health and Geriatric Medicine. She was also asked to be the Co-director of the local hospice service in the area where she was practicing due to her noticeable compassion and care. She published researches on palliative care.
Dr. Abul Khoudoud joined the International Medical Center as a Consultant of General Internal Medicine until 2013, then she was promoted to the Chairwoman of the Internal Medicine Department.
She is married and enjoys traveling, reading, swimming and skiing.
