• Continuing Professional Development:

At the International Medical Center Academy, The unit of Continuous Professional Development offers development opportunities for healthcare providers from different specialties to promote their knowledge, skills, and attitude by delivering evidence-based education, hands-on training and focusing on new techniques.

The Continuous Professional Development unit provides more than 150 Continuous Professional Development activities and trains above 7000 healthcare professionals on annual basis.

The International Medical Center Academy’s Continuous Professional Development unit is accredited by the Saudi Commission for Healthcare Specialties and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.

• Internship & Students Training:

The Internship/ students Training unit is structured to help students to learn how to apply, evaluate, test and integrate academic knowledge and theoretical concepts in a work setting. Therefore, students will better understand themselves and their abilities, goals, and career interests in a work setting.

IMC Academy Internship/ Students Training unit encourages students to take on greater responsibility for their education and life, and develop self-reliance, personal styles, values, and beliefs in a manner consistent with becoming responsible and productive individuals.

The Internship/ Students Training unit provides training opportunities to more than 1200 trainees in the different departments of the hospital.

• Life Support Training:

The Life Support Training unit is a part of the International Medical Center Academy. It offers a variety of classes for healthcare and non-healthcare professionals. The life Support Training unit is accredited by the Saudi Heart Association.

The Life Support Training unit delivers more than 200 Life Support Training Courses and trains above 2000 trainees annually.

• Postgraduate Programs:

Postgraduate study enhances your prospects and takes your career to an exciting new direction. The IMC Academy cooperates with both national and international institutions.

Recently The IMC Academy launched a post graduate program in Clinical Coding with the cooperation of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties/ Health Academy.

• Research:

Research Centre (RC) officially began functioning in June 2010. Research Center oversees all research related activities; supports the administration decision process, disease registry and Morbidity and Mortality.Institutional Review Board (IRB) is governed and maintained.

• Training and Development:

The Training and Development Unit at the International Medical Center Academy promotes IMC professional’s effectiveness by developing and offering a collection of innovative and diverse programs in support of the organization’s commitment to employee development and organizational enrichment.

The Training and Development unit conducts a regular assessment to determine the organization's training needs by reviewing employee skills and qualifications, obtaining input from supervisors and managers about employee performance and reviewing company's succession plans and strategies.

The Training and Development unit at the International Medical Center’s academy trains more than 1000 employees annually and conducts more than 30 programs.
