Nutrition is a key element of good health. Registered clinical dietitians are experts on good nutrition and food choices that can make you healthy, whether it’s a proper diet or eating to manage the symptoms of a disease or chronic condition. The clinical dietitians design nutrition programs to protect health, prevent allergic reactions and alleviate the symptoms of many types of disease. During a dietetic consultation, the dietitian can assess and determine your nutritional needs based on your health status or condition. She can then provide you with a personalized meal plan and recipes, teach you how to read nutrition labels, analyze your body composition with the latest Inbody machine, and much more. Clients are treated as individuals with specific needs and goals for their health and wellbeing. Medical nutrition therapy provided by clinical dietitians is linked to improvement in overall health by saving time and money spent on medical care, hospitalization, and medication for people with diabetes, hypertension, obesity and other chronic diseases.
