Learning Objectives
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Recognize the initial assessment of the traumatic patient.
- Understand the principles of resuscitations in trauma.
- Establish priorities in trauma scenarios.
- Prioritize the traumatic injuries according to recent guidelines.
- Understand the differences between blunt and penetrating abdomen injuries .
- Identify and treat life threatening conditions. (Airway obstruction, Tension pneumothorax , Open pneumothorax , Massive haemothorax).
- Recognize Shock in trauma and establish its degrees.
- Differentiate between life threatening and potentially life threatening injuries.
- Interpret CXR findings correctly.
