COVID-19 Preventive Measures Staff Training

As part of the initiative to train staff on preventive measures against COVID-19, International Medical Center was proactive in taking all preventive measures for staff against COVID-19, whereby a number of initiatives were launched to implement all means of protection and safety, the most prominent of which was the distribution of 3,000 hand sanitizers to all IMC members, at headquarters on Ha’il Street and First Clinic Complex, and it became mandatory for all to carry their hand sanitizer with them throughout official working hours, as these became synonymous to their ID badges and could not be neglected at any time.

IMC also launched a campaign to train staff on all means of COVID-19 prevention, in addition to raising awareness on the importance of adhering to measures which ensure their own safety and the safety of those with whom they come in contact, be they family members or hospital visitors.
The campaign included the preparation of special videos on proper hand washing techniques, including procedure and time required to do so.

The campaign also included the delegation of groups of IMC staff members to visit all departments and demonstrate the proper techniques for hand washing and disinfection, and answer all relevant questions.

Furthermore, the campaign included demonstrations to inpatient healthcare workers to raise awareness and act as constant reminders on the required preventive and precautionary measures.

The campaign also included demonstrations to inpatient healthcare workers on donning, doffing, and discardment of protective equipment, emphasizing the principle of handling and contact with anything outside their specific department.
