Post-graduate Program

The IMC provides Medical Coding Post-graduate Program under the auspices of the Saudi Commission for Healthcare Specialties (SCHS)

The IMC’s Academy announced its collaboration with the Medical Information Department to provide the Clinical Coding Post Graduate Program under the auspices of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) represented by the Health Academy.

A team from the IMC Academy has reached an agreement with SCHS’s Health Academy as to explore avenues for cooperation in the field of student’s training as well as the possibility of accepting trainees at the IMC under the patronage of the SCHS. The IMC Academy has successfully met the program’s standards and requirements of eligibility. 

The training program, which is a one-year ends-in-employment training program, has already started, as the IMC Academy has announced that it already has 31 students registered in the program, whereas, five students were appointed as Medical Coders in IMC’s Medical Information Management upon their completion of the program; while the remaining 26 students have already signed employment contracts to work at the Ministry of Health.
