The word hospitality is derived from "hospital", a word that indicates generous care and extending acts of kindness. Here, at the IMC, we work to restore the meaningful essence of this word and revive it throughout three focus areas:
Single-room policy:
Lack of privacy and stress never fail to heighten the patients’ sensitivity; therefore, every patient at the IMC is guaranteed a single-room to provide the quietude they need. This will enhance patient safety and create a comfortable atmosphere for patients and their families, promote a healthier environment by minimizing infections, and preventing the chances of medical errors. In addition, this policy eliminates most stressors associated with noise usually found in multiple-occupancy rooms.
Quality family time:
Family members can come and go without worrying about disturbing their patient or other patients as all the rooms provide a separate private unit for family members in addition to a guest lounge outside the room. The comfortable stay of family members at the IMC ensures the patient of their companionship through difficult times and this is definitely a most welcome feature in patient-rooms.
Hospitality
The word “Hospital” is derived from “Hospitality” which means being a host to our guest in the most mannered and cultured approach depicted by the years of medical expertise twined with our Saudi traditional values of treating our guest. IMC established the Hospitality Department to ensure the best care for our patients and their families.Our Hospitality support team is comprised of more than 300 dedicated personnel, which work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that your expectations are met in each area of your visit to IMC.
Housekeeping
The Housekeeping Section works diligently to keep the essential domestic functions of cleaning and waste management. Environmental friendly Integrated Pest Management is practiced to keep the facility free of pest. Patient rooms and baths will be cleaned on a daily basis.It is our mission in Hospitality to concentrate on the patient’s well-being by constantly measuring outcomes to improve the quality of our services. We, therefore, carry out regular surveys of patients and customers and welcome feedback to identify the areas for improvement.
Your Diet
Our in-house Food and Beverage Section strives to provide you with the wholesome right quantities, healthy nutrition for your needs, prepared hygienically and presented well. The team supports a number of different service areas and outlets, managing the careful preparation of food and drink for patients, visitors and staff.The meals are customized according to your choice and preferences. Representatives from Diet services will visit your room to take your choices for the next day and assist you in deciding the best meals suitable for your health condition.Occasionally your meal may be delayed if you are scheduled for a special test or treatment. Whenever possible, call the Pantry when you are back from your examination or test to receive your on call meal.The Cafeteria located on the ground floor is open to staff, patients and visitors; as it offers a full range of meals, hot cold snacks/beverages.The IMC Café located in 1st floor Mezzanine is open to staff, patients and visitors; as it offers an array of salads, sandwiches, deserts and beverages.
